Caryophyllene: Terpene Highlight
Caryophyllene is a bicyclic sesquiterpene that is a constituent of many plants including several herbs and spices. It is often found as a mixture with isocaryophyllene, a double bond isomer, and α-humulene, a ring-opened isomer. Caryophyllene has a unique molecular structure containing a rare cyclobutene ring not found in other terpenes. Caryophyllene is the most common sesquiterpene found in essential oils. It is believed to possess soothing and cleansing properties that make it useful in a variety of aromatherapy and topical applications. The aroma of Caryophyllene can be described as warm and peppery, similar to the fragrance of freshly cracked black pepper.

- 4oz Amber Glass Bottle with Spray Top
- 2oz of High Percentage Alcohol
- 2oz of Distilled Water
- 10 drops of Rosemary Essential Oil

- 5 drops of Clove Bud Essential Oil
Instructions
Add 2 ounces of high percentage alcohol to the bottle. Add the essential oils and fill the remainder of the bottle with water, leaving a little space at the top. Shake well before each use. Spray around the room before studying or working.

Instructions

Ingredients
- 4 oz Amber Glass Bottle
- 1 oz of Unscented Liquid Castile Soap
- 1/2oz of Vegetable Glycerin
- 1/2oz of Sweet Almond Oil
- 1 1/2oz of Distilled Water
- 24 drops of Rosemary Essential Oil
- 10 drops of Clove Bud Essential Oil
Instructions
Measure Liquid Castile Soap, Vegetable Glycerin, Sweet Almond Oil, and essential oil blend into a bowl and stir thoroughly to combine. Add water, a little at a time, while stirring gently to avoid the formation of too many bubbles. Allow any bubbles to dissipate and pour the mixture into the bottle. Shake well before each use. Pour a small amount into the hand or a soft washcloth. Gently rub all over the face, forming a lather, to cleanse. for a full minute. Rinse thoroughly and follow with toner and moisturizer.
