Description

Melissa Essential Oil is extracted from flowers and leaves of the plant also known as Lemon Balm but very little oil is obtained from each plant. For this reason, Melissa is co-distilled with Citronella to increase the yield and create a sweet and lemony floral aroma. When used in aromatherapy, Melissa Essential Oil is believed to calm feelings of tension and nervousness to help encourage relaxation. It may also help to combat negative emotions for a balanced and uplifted mood.
