Description

Citronella Essential Oil has a sweet, fresh, and citrus-like aroma that has long been used to help eliminate unwanted odors and repel insects like mosquitoes and flies. Citronella Essential Oil contains properties that can work to uplift the mood and increase energy while also soothing headaches. Additionally,  it works to improve complexion by balancing oil production in the skin and reducing fine lines, dark spots, and other signs of aging. When applied to the body, it can stimulate circulation as well as ease inflammation and swelling.

Blends Well With: Eucalyptus, Lavender, Lemongrass, Rosemary, Peppermint, Geranium, Pine, Sandalwood, Tea Tree, Bergamot, Cedarwood, and Clary Sage essential oils.

Uses
  • Diffuse 3 drops of Citronella, and 2 drops each of Cinnamon and Sage Essential Oils to keep mosquitos and other insects away from the area.
  • Combine 4 drops of Citronella Essential Oil and 6 drops of Lavender Essential Oil with a carrier oil inside a 10ml roller bottle. Apply it to your wrists and temples to improve mood and ease headaches.
  • Dilute Citronella Essential Oil with sweet almond oil to a 3% ratio. After cleansing, pat into the face to help soothe inflammation and combat aging
